KlōT͟HiNG™ is an Auckland-based lifestyle marketplace built on one simple conviction: you should be able to dress head to toe without compromising on what actually matters. We hold ourselves to one standard, and we ask the same of every brand that joins us. We call it PPQ — Product, Price and Quality.

KLOTHING LIMITED is a New Zealand registered company (NZBN 9429052132117), trading at klothing.co.nz from Airport Oaks, Auckland. We began where we knew the ground best: premium New Zealand possum merino knitwear, made in Palmerston North by one of the country's oldest surviving mills. What we learned there shaped everything that followed — provenance can be traced, price can be honest, and a customer who is told the truth comes back.

Today KlōT͟HiNG is a curated and growing marketplace: knitwear made in New Zealand, fine fragrance, and women's fashion designed for warmth and movement. Different disciplines and different countries, held together by the same three letters.

The PPQ Standard

PPQ is not a slogan. It is the filter every product passes through before it reaches our store, and the promise we make to the person at the other end of every order.

P — Product

The right thing, honestly described: fibre content, origin, dimensions and care. We would rather lose a sale to a specification than win one with a vague adjective. If a maker can't substantiate a claim, it doesn't appear on the page.

P — Price

Fair, clear and complete. All prices are shown in New Zealand dollars, including GST, with no surprise charges added at the final step. Wherever possible we work directly with makers and brand owners, so the value stays in the garment or the bottle — not in the layers in between.

Q — Quality

Verified at the source, not claimed after the fact. We work with brands that can show us their process — the mill, the yarn, the perfumer. Quality that can be inspected is the only kind worth selling.

Trust runs in both directions. Every purchase is an act of trust placed in KlōT͟HiNG, and every order we fulfil is our assurance returned. That reciprocity is the whole business.

An Open Door

Most marketplaces filter brands by size, turnover or follower count. We don't. KlōT͟HiNG welcomes every brand with something genuine to offer — a 141-year-old mill or a first-season independent, a global manufacturer or a family atelier.

We ask for standards, not scale:

• Can you tell us truthfully what your product is made of, and where?
• Can you stand behind your price without hiding costs downstream?
• Can you support the customer after the sale, not only before it?

If the answer is yes three times, there is a place for you here. Our goal is a complete head-to-toe offer: the jersey, the fragrance and the dress in one place, at one standard, under one assurance.

Built for New Zealand and Australia

Our purpose is specific: to connect New Zealand and Australian customers with the right PPQ. These are markets with discerning buyers and real seasonal needs, yet too often a narrow and expensive set of options — especially outside the main centres. Many quality international brands have no practical route into Oceania at all.

KlōT͟HiNG exists to close that gap: clear NZD pricing with GST included, and a single point of accountability if anything goes wrong. For partner brands, we are a considered, low-risk door into a market that would otherwise take years to enter properly.

Each brand below has its own history, its own craft and its own reasons for being good at what it does.

MKM Originals New Zealand

Knitwear · Est. 1884

MKM Originals is the retail brand of Manawatu Knitting Mills, established in 1884 and still designing and manufacturing in the Manawatu region. Head office, factory, warehouse and outlet store all sit on one site — a rarity in an industry that has spent four decades moving offshore. The mill remains a family-owned New Zealand business.

MKM specialises in knitwear from locally sourced natural fibres: possum merino, New Zealand wool, and its own blends, ECO BLEND and Superfine 17-micron Merino. Yarn is spun in New Zealand with Woolyarns to EU REACH standards, and garments are knitted in Palmerston North and pass a three-point quality check before reaching you.

ECO BLEND deserves a special mention: fibre that would normally be discarded during yarn manufacture is collected and re-spun into a premium new yarn. Their natural fibres are 100% biodegradable and renewable.

Native World New Zealand

Possum Merino · Made in New Zealand

Native World is the second in-house brand of Manawatu Knitting Mills and the more refined expression of the same heritage. Its garments blend possum fur, merino and silk — a combination that is exceptionally soft, light and unique to this part of the world.

Where MKM Originals leans towards workwear and the outdoors, Native World draws on the landscape that inspires it, with women's, men's and children's collections plus accessories, including the Heritage by MKM range. It is 100% New Zealand made.

Mocemsa Fragrance

Original Formulations

Mocemsa is a fragrance house with a refreshingly honest philosophy: no frills. When you buy a high-end luxury fragrance, you pay for almost everything except the fragrance. Mocemsa strips away the cost of vanity and puts the value back into the bottle.

Its scents are produced in a modern facility in Barcelona, Spain, to IFRA standards, at 25% concentration for intensity and longevity, and the house is cruelty-free. Mocemsa works entirely from original fragrance formulations, led by perfumer Pulkit Malhotra, a graduate of the Grasse Institute of Perfumery in France.

Moomaya Women's Fashion

Sustainable · Everyday · Resort

Moomaya designs sustainable women's fashion for real life: dresses, tops, shirts, co-ord sets, kurta sets, jumpsuits, skirts, trousers, kaftans, sleepwear and a dedicated resort range. Fabrics include cotton poplin, cotton cambric, viscose rayon and jersey rib knit, with fabric weight and length published on every product. For New Zealand and Australia, Moomaya brings warm-weather womenswear that is easy to wear, easy to pack and priced for everyday life.

Our commercial terms are transparent: a flat commission on monthly net sales (excluding GST), a modest annual subscription and a nominal per-product upload fee. Nothing hidden, and nothing changes without notice.
