A plain crewneck jersey in 100% New Zealand wool. No lining, no zip, no technical claims — just a well-made wool jersey cut slightly loose so it layers over a shirt without pulling.

This is the one that gets worn until the elbows go. It is warm when damp, it holds its shape, and it does not need washing every week because wool doesn't hold odour the way synthetics do.

A sensible first wool jersey, and a hard one to wear out.
